(Unless specifically listed, standard disclaimer for all products.)

These products are not qualifying health coverage (“Minimum Essential Coverage”) that satisfies the health coverage requirement of the Affordable Care Act. If you don’t have Minimum Essential Coverage, you may owe an additional payment with your taxes. The termination or loss of this policy does not entitle you to a special enrollment period to purchase a health benefit plan that qualifies as minimum essential coverage outside of an open enrollment period. These products may include a pre-existing condition exclusion provision.

If you don’t have Minimum Essential Coverage, you may owe an additional payment with your taxes.

The following disclaimer should be used when describing a discount prescription program. This Discount Prescription Drug Card Program is not insurance coverage and does not meet the minimum essential coverage requirements under the Affordable Care Act (ACA). This Discount Prescription Drug Card Program provides discounts at certain pharmacies for certain prescriptions.

Short Term Medical

This coverage is not required to comply with certain federal market requirements for health insurance, principally those contained in the Affordable Care Act. Be sure to check your policy carefully to make sure you are aware of any exclusions or limitations regarding coverage of preexisting conditions or health benefits (such as hospitalization, emergency services, maternity care, preventive care, prescription drugs, and mental health and substance use disorder services). Your policy might also have lifetime and/or annual dollar limits on health benefits. If this coverage expires or you lose eligibility for this coverage, you might have to wait until an open enrollment period to get other health insurance coverage.
